Butterflies wedding card

Morning!

Today I want to show you wedding card. Very elegant and classy. Pastel colours, finished with butterflies, lace and few pearls. Probably by now you can say I really like chipboards!

To make it I used one of my favourite paper pad from Trimcraft First Edition- The promise collection, Creative Expressions Christmas frame cutting die, Cheery Lynn leaves die, flower from Wild Orchid Crafts and great Man & Wife chipboard from Crafty Moly/ Craftyenjoyments. I finished it off with white lace and some silver pearls.

Hope you like it!

Elegant birthday card with gold touch

Hello!

Today I want to present you one of my latest birthday card. It was a wee bit different concept as I really wanted to use my newest paper pad. Of course- bought on my holiday in USA :). And to be honest I bought few more with metallic finishes and I love them all! :)

So this particular paper (Recollections from Midnight Garden collection) was quite tricky- dark navy with gold dots. Beautiful paper but so dark. I was a wee bit sceptic to use it for birthday card at first but I though with lighter paper it will be just perfect! I matched it with pastel pink paper from DCWV Sophisticated Neutrals collection. I finished it off with handmade clay frame, Rosy owl birthday wishes tag and finally few magnolias and sweetheart flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Elegant, simple but I really like it. Especially I love this gold sparkle when you look at the card from different angle!

Let me know if you like it too! :)

And few pictures from happy lady who received the card :)

Perfect couple anniversary card

Morning!

Couple of weeks ago I had to do wedding anniversary card. Straight away I thought about chipboard. Not particular one but for some reason I just wanted to use chipboard. So I went through all my chipboards and was a wee bit confused as I couldn't see anything that would match my idea (which I actually didn't have at the time). And then I realized that somewhere in my embellishments box I do have this perfect duo bicycle chipboard! I knew that was IT! :)

Idea was simple but really cute. To make this card I used Simple Stories paper pad from Say Chees II collection, partly punched with Martha Stewart cherish side punch, I also added this great chipboard (unfortunately I have no idea what brand it is as bought it no name from little craft shop in my home town in Poland) and I finished it off with little note and some pearl drops.

Hope you like it!

Wedding card- candy prize

Morning!

Remember in May I did have a little candy on my Facebook. Sylwia who won it asked me for wedding card for her friends. She wanted something similar to my previous wedding cards but mainly in pink. And as on my holiday I did buy a lot of new paper pads straight away I had idea in my mind! I have so many beautiful pastel paper pads now so Sylwia wish was just perfect to use some of them!

To make this card I used DCWV paper pad from Sophisticated neutrals collection, chipboard from Craftyenjoyments (bare in mind that original chipboard looked completely different I cut it in pieces to be perfect for this card :) ) , nested dies from cArt-us and I finished it off with brads and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And there it is beautiful pastel pink/peach wedding card for Sylwia (or actually Sylwia's friends :) )- winner of my latest candy! :)

Hope you like it!

Traveller birthday card with suggestion :)

Hello,

Today quite funny card from my point of view. Birthday card for one of my best friend who is constantly saying that one day he will come and visit me in London but it never happened! So as a wee joke I made this card with 2 chipboards as a little suggestion for his next holiday destination! :) Straight away after he received it he contacted me to laugh about it and promised that he will come soon! Mission completed isn't it? :)

But to start with I had honestly no idea what theme to choose for card for him. You know... card for men always seems to be harder one to make. So I opened my box with chipboards and within seconds I knew exactly which one I will use :). Plane one is from Craftyenjoyments and the earth one from Wycinanka. Arrow was my improvisation and I cut it myself. And the text die is from Rosy owl.

Hope you like it! My friend loved it! :)

Noor! Design UK Design Team

Good morning!

Today a wee bit different post. You will find some more information about me and how it all started. So let me explain what stands behind this unusual post! 😊 I would like to join Noor! Design UK Design Team and that’s the way I can present myself. Never done it before in a post but every day is good to do and try something new! 😊

As you already know I’m Magda and living in London. My scrap story started around 2,5 years ago when I couldn’t find any suitable invitations for my own wedding. After doing some research I thought why not try to do it myself. At the end of the day- I love different type of DIY, I think of myself as creative and interested in exploring new stuff person- so why not!? I end up doing not only my wedding invitations but whole wedding stationery that all our guests loved! I felt so proud and I think that’s the time it all started for real. Now, 2 years later (exactly today is my wedding anniversary 😊 ) I’m looking back in the past with big smile! Thinking that such fortune started my great passion for papercraft!

At the beginning, I did set up my Facebook page. From time to time I added some of my work- starting with mainly invitations and later on with occasional cards. Now mainly occasional cards, invitations, exploding boxes and albums. Recently after suggestion from my scrap friend I also set up account on Instagram and I started my own blog.

I think my skills developed really well since when I started but I am still trying different techniques as it is such a great fun. I love using cutting dies and chipboards and can’t imagine making card theme without them! Now I am exploring foamiran, stamping and hot embossing. I know there is still plenty to learn as scrapbooking is so wide craft category and there are so many different techniques. However I am willing to try them and hopefully I will have the chance to learn some of them in the near future. In the past I had a pleasure to buy some craft supplies from Noor! Design like great Joy! Craft paper pads, few flowers cutting dies from Rosy Owl (perfect for foamiran!), Scrapiniec chipboards and some craft essentials. I am open minded, scrupulous, full of creative ideas and I love new adventures!

Also for this post I made special card using supplies mainly either bought from or available at Noor! Design. Main part is Joy! crafts paper from Noor's favourites collection, handmade foamiran flower made with Rosy owl Heart Flowers cutting dies, coloured with oil pastels and with little pink brad. I finished it off with some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts (available at Noor! Design), fuchsia and white cotton cord, white lace (there is a great choice of lace at Noor!) and some pink rhinstones. At the end I added "Two become one" chipboard (similar and many more available at Noor!). Hope you like it!

And at the end I would like you to take a look at some of my other favourite cards and boxes!
